My face painting profile is now on Thumbtack.com!  This is a website where service providers can register and potential clients can ask for quotes on specific jobs.  So someone can go to www.thumbtack.com and post a request for a service, which is free.  Then the matching service providers get notified of the request and they can submit a quote for a small fee.  Pretty cool, eh?  Thumbtack has all kinds of categories too, not just face painting, but photography, and "business stuff" like accounting, etc.

September classes announced!

I've created two brand new classes I am offering this September that are specifically designed to prepare you for Donna Dewberry's workshop Sept. 26-28!  A person who has never painted before can take these two classes and be familiar with the most common techniques used during the workshop. 

Of course these are great stand-alone classes and are perfect for that beginner painter or painters who's brushes have been in storage for a while!

Dust Off Your Brushes/ Beginner One Stroke Class - Wreath

 

Date:  Saturday, September 7th, 2013

The workshop project for Friday, Sept. 27th, is a wreath with a vase.  This class introduces the basic technique for creating a vine wreath and introduces the daisy stroke, leaf stroke, and five petal flowers.

Donna Dewberry Workshop 2013 is a GO! Still accepting sign-ups!

Donna's workshop here in PA September 26-28 is a GO!  We are still short of the required sign-ups but Donna gave us her approval to confirm the date and give us time to fill the seats. Donna only does a handful of these around the country and we are lucky enough to be on her list of destinations!
