This little guy is too cute for words!  Price is reduced so you can choose and bring your own canvas.  You can choose the full version above with a tall narrow canvas or paint a much shorter pole like the close up below on a 16" x 20" canvas.  Call or e-mail me if you have any questions on supplies.

This is a great class for beginners and vetted painters alike!  Class covers the daisy stroke and introduces a few variations to create four different wild flowers.

Back from Florida!

I am now a certified Woil instructor!  I also am a CERTIFYING Woil instructor!  I will run a Woil certification next year.  I had a wonderful time at the Dewberry's, painting five oil paintings in two and a half days - Whew!  Unfortunately I won't be teaching any of the pieces I learned because I have to save them for the certification, but I am working on some new pieces of my own as well as some of Donna's other patterns to teach next year.

Skill Builder Workshop/Open Paint this Sunday!

Painters welcome!  Come to my house this Sunday, November 4th at 1 pm for a day of open painting!  Cost is $10.

My main intention is to give you time to work through your skill builder independent studies with me on hand to answer questions, but you can just come and paint if you want!  Bring a previous class project (or two) that you just never finished.  Do you have a gift idea for Christmas that you just need a little help on to get you started?  I won't be teaching a class, but I will be there to help and will be available to perform skill builder evaluations.  Skill builder evaluations are one on one reviews of your projects and exercises from a skill builder, and each costs $25.  Note that the $10 open paint fee is waived with two or more Skill Builder Evaluations.

Blog updates

I've made a few updates to my blog.  Notice the "upcoming classes" section on the right?  I've updated the rest of my fall schedule into the online calendar and will continue to do so.  I still have some details to add, but once I am done this calendar will show the date, time, place, cost, and supply list for each class.  This will be my primary spot for maintaining this information, so it is a great go-to spot to see what is coming next!  If there is other information you would like to see here, please let me know!

Post workshop blues

I had a WONDERFUL time last week hosting Donna Dewberry for a three day workshop here in our corner of Pennsylvania!  Not only did I get to spend quality time with my friend Donna, but I got to see fellow painters I haven't seen in ages, and strengthened and made new friendships!  Did I forget to mention the painting?  It was so much fun from beginning to end!
