Getting ready to teach again

Hello all! It's been MONTHS since I've posted and over a year since I've taught a class. My regular day job was requiring a tremendous amount of overtime to the point where I dropped all extraciricular activities and threatened my health. I am very very anxious to get back in the classroom teaching again! I'll be publishing a teaching schedule in the next two weeks, so keep watching!

In the meantime, here are some of the few paintings I did this year:

Here is a wOil painting I did at Donna's education summit in the summer:

This also is a wOil painting from the summit:

Here is a desert oasis acrylic landscape also from the summit:

And here is the the last canvas from the summit:

Here is one of my original landscapes. The majority of this was done with the scruffy brush!

Another of my landscapes. Brrr!

Painting Day Anyone?

Hi! Please send me an e-mail at danellesdesigns@hotmail.com if you are interested in participating in a painting day on Saturday, March 23rd at the Parkwood United Presbyterian Church in Allison Park (where Donna's workshop was held in October.)

If we can get enough people here is what I am thinking:

Morning: Beginner Level painting class $30
Afternoon: Open paint (just come and paint the afternoon away!) Cost will be a portion of the hall rental fee so the more the merrier (and cheaper per person!)

It would be a great way to dust off those brushes and emerge from winter hybernation to hang out with fellow painters!

We need to decide quickly if we want to reserve the hall, so send me an e-mail right away if you are interested!
