I'll be Face Painting in Mars this Saturday!

Come and see me at the Spring Shopping Extravaganza this Saturday, 1:00 - 4:00 pm at Mars United Presbyterian Church  (232 Crowe Ave, Mars, PA 16046)

 

It is a charity event collecting clothing donations for Pittsburgh Dress For Success Organization (http://www.dressforsuccess.org/affiliate.aspx?sisid=107&pageid=1)

So bring your like-new business attire, “scrubs”, jewelry/accessories, and grooming items to donate and check out live, interactive demonstrations with fashion jewelry, organizing, body slimming, home décor, glamour tips, anti-aging, and more! Plus face painting, nail art, cookie sampling and photos happening on the spot! And info about local family-friendly music concerts!

Mural in my son's room

I'm so excited my mural in my son's room!  I'll show you some of the stages here...

I forgot to take a picture of just the border before I started the landscape, so there was quite a bit of work before this:

Then I added the beanstalk (Jamie wanted jack and the beanstalk in the mural), the tree, and blocked in the cottage:

Then I added the leaves and the birds's nest:

Next comes the cottage, the castle in the sky:
