January Update

Hi everyone!  I've delayed releasing my class schedule mainly due to the weather.  For one thing the kids have been home with all the school delays and snow days, and the other is I don't want to go out in below ten degree temperatures and won't ask you to either.  I will update it soon; I have several of the project samples painted and photographed.

In the meantime, I've finally cracked into the box of SoSoft paint that Donna demonstrated at her workshop in September and been having a blast with them!  I'm learning as I go and I can't wait to wear my "new wardrobe" out and about!  Since I can't get away to paint easily with the kids around, I set up a shirt on a board, grabbed an IdentiPen, and took it with me around the house.  Of course I did it the hard way and just started drawing instead of using the wonderful PenDeZigns Donna has, but I had a lot of fun with it and found ways to cover up my mistakes.  I'm definitely going to incorporate the PenDeZigns into my class schedule!  My middle son asked for his own shirt and together we painted a lego person on an old T-shirt for him.  It turned out so nice, we should have put it on a nicer shirt.  I was thrilled as it was the first time he showed an interest in painting!
