Donna Dewberry 2010 Workshop update

OK painters, here is an update on what to expect for Donna's next PA workshop.

Donna has us on her calendar for Thursday October 7th through Saturday October 9th, written in pen (not pencil).

None of her workshops are "confirmed" until she gets her minimum number of sign-ups, which is 20 people for Friday and 20 for Saturday. The Dewberry Crafts office will take your credit card but will not charge it until the workshop is confirmed. They are not taking sign-ups yet, but will start soon - probably next month.

The set-up will be similar to November's:

Thursday night: Crafty Wave class, around $35 depending on the project
Friday: All day class, approximately 9-5:00, $125, lunch not included
Saturday: All day class, approximately 9-5:00, $125, lunch not included

The Friday and Saturday classes will have a canvas project in the morning (a different one each day) and a stroke-study based project in the afternoon (different each day). This is the standard format, but Donna is very flexible and wants to plan the days to meet the area's needs. We also have plenty of time to work through the details. I as host will be working with Donna on the itinerary, so input is welcome. One of the other workshops did three individual crafty wave projects on one of the days with individual sign-ups for each class and did the $125 workshop the other day. That could be an option for us. e-mail me at danellesdesigns@hotmail.com if you think this would be a good idea for our area. We would need to figure this out before we start officially collecting sign-ups.

I do not have a location picked out yet. I will have it in one location this time, preferably in a hotel in the Cranberry TWP area.

The most important thing is to get painters in the seats. This is what I need your help on - talk to your friends and your students! Help build the excitement! See my poll to the right of this blog and let me know what days you are interested in attending! Click "next poll" to vote on the workshop format!
